Castlevania: Belmont's Curse system requirements: Windows 11, 16 GB
Castlevania Belmont's Curse system requirements, according to the Steam store page, start at Windows 11, 16 GB of RAM and a GTX 1650 — not a leftover Windows 10 box with 8 GB. Steam’s recommended PC is an i5-10400 plus an RTX 3060, still 16 GB, DirectX 11 and 10 GB of storage. Konami’s target is 60 fps off Switch. This 2D action-exploration game (KONAMI, Evil Empire, Motion Twin advisory) ships on 15 October 2026 per Konami’s official site; Steam lists 14 October 2026 (app 4231820). Rose Belmont, Paris 1499, 23 years after Castlevania III. A tower that actually matches the sheet sits closer to $550–$1,100 (French TTC listings). Filter PC4Games: PCs for Belmont's Curse.

Castlevania Belmont's Curse system requirements on Steam
According to Steam (app 4231820, checked 12 October 2026), minimum is Windows 11 64-bit, Intel Core i5-8400, 16 GB, GeForce GTX 1650, DirectX 11, 10 GB. Recommended: Windows 11, i5-10400, 16 GB, RTX 3060, DirectX 11, 10 GB. No AMD CPU, no Radeon, no 32 GB row.
This is not Dead Cells on a 1050. Evil Empire co-developed the game, but the PC sheet is a modern 2D title that already asks for 16 GB and Windows 11. An 8 GB + GTX 1050 Ti + Windows 10 tower is off the paper, even if the genre is still action-exploration.
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 11 (64-bit) | Windows 11 (64-bit) |
| Processor | Intel Core i5-8400 | Intel Core i5-10400 |
| Memory | 16 GB | 16 GB |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 |
| DirectX | Version 11 | Version 11 |
| Storage | 10 GB | 10 GB |
Windows 11 only: the trap when you buy used
Both Steam rows say Windows 11. Windows 10 is not on the page. That does not prove the client will refuse to launch on a still-updated 10 box; it means a PC stuck on 10 is outside the published spec. If you buy second-hand, check TPM and UEFI before you pay for the 1650.
According to Konami, the game targets 60 fps (30 fps on Nintendo Switch). Steam does not put that number in the hardware table. Keep both readings: 60 fps from the publisher, 1650 / 3060 from the PC store.
16 GB for a 2D game: the real RAM floor
Minimum and recommended both list 16 GB. There is no 8 GB row. Discord, the Steam client and a build browser sit on top of the game. A single 16 GB stick is still more fragile than 2×8 GB dual-channel, even if Steam never says so.
32 GB is not on the sheet. Useful if you stream or leave a wiki tab open, not required to “be recommended”. The first upgrade on an 8 GB mini-tower is RAM, not a 4070.
AMD is missing from Steam: how to shop without inventing parts
Steam names Intel and NVIDIA only. A Ryzen 5 2600 or 3600 is not an official line. In a shop you can still use that generation as a class filter (six cores from the same era as an i5-8400), as long as you say it: Konami did not write it. Same for an RX 580 / 6500 XT versus the 1650.
If an Amazon listing hides the chipset behind “gaming PC Castlevania”, skip it. The $650 gaming PC and $1,100 gaming PC pages help you match a named 1650 / 3060, 16 GB, and Windows 11 already installed.
Konami 8 GB vs Steam 10 GB: Standard or Midnight
Konami lists 8 GB for Standard and 10 GB for the Midnight Edition. Steam lines the PC up at 10 GB on both rows. Plan 10–15 GB free: shaders, a demo if you keep it, and the Steam client. An SSD is not marked mandatory; 10 GB fits on SATA. A nearly full HDD mostly delays room loads, not the CPU.
Midnight adds an audio/art gallery and three items (Trevor / Sypha costumes, a relic). That does not change the GTX 1650. The Steam pre-order bonus (Alucard-style costume) does not either.
What a 1650 and a 3060 actually cost in France
Around $550–$775 TTC you are buying the playable minimum. 16 GB dual-channel, Windows 11, SSD, a healthy GTX 1650 or a named 1660 Super / 3050. An used i5-8400 meets the paper; a new 12400F / 5600 is cleaner if the motherboard matches. Skip 8 GB + GT 1030 kits.
Toward $775–$1,100 you pay for Steam’s recommended PC (RTX 3060 / 4060, i5-10400 or a newer equivalent). That is the comfortable 1080p band for a title Konami aims at 60 fps. A 4070 for Belmont's Curse alone does not make sense while the sheet stops at a 3060. Filter that band in the comparator.

- Recommended: i5-10400, RTX 3060, still 16 GB. No AMD on the sheet.
