The data controller is LAIZE THOMAS (trade name: PC4GAMES), Sole trader (micro-entrepreneur / auto-entrepreneur), based at 16 PLACE DES QUINCONCES, 33000 BORDEAUX, France. Publishing director: LAIZE THOMAS.

For any privacy-related request, email contact@pc4games.com. We aim to reply within a reasonable timeframe and, where GDPR applies, within one month.

Technical and usage data: when you browse PC4Games, our hosting and analytics providers may process data such as IP address (often truncated or pseudonymised), browser type, device/OS, pages viewed, referrer URL, approximate region and timestamps. This helps keep the site secure, measure audience and fix performance issues.

Contact form: if you write to us, we process the name, email address, subject and message you voluntarily submit, plus a spam-protection token processed by Google reCAPTCHA v3 (see below).

Newsletter: if you subscribe via the footer or signup flow, we store your email address, optional first name, locale and subscription source (e.g. footer, popup or account signup).

Optional account: if you create a PC4Games account, we store profile data you provide (username, name, country, birthday, phone where applicable), forum or guide interactions linked to your account, and gamification/points data where those features are enabled.

Affiliate and advertising interactions: clicks on Amazon or other partner links, and interactions with ad placements (A-ADS, partner banners such as Instant Gaming), may generate aggregated or pseudonymous identifiers handled by those third parties.

We do not collect payment card or bank details. Purchases on Amazon or other merchants are processed entirely on those platforms under their own privacy terms.

Operate and secure the website (fraud prevention, abuse detection, server logs, debugging).

Measure traffic and improve content (which guides, game pages or comparator flows perform best).

Respond to contact requests and, where you opted in, send the PC4Games newsletter with gaming PC deals and recommendations.

Run optional community features (forum, guide comments, user profiles) when you choose to use them.

Attribute affiliate commissions when you purchase through qualifying links, without adding cost to you.

Comply with legal obligations and defend our legitimate interests where applicable.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: legitimate interest for essential site operation, security and aggregated analytics; consent for non-essential cookies and advertising trackers when a consent banner is shown; performance of a request or pre-contractual steps when you contact us; and consent (or legitimate interest where permitted) for newsletter emails you explicitly subscribe to.

You may withdraw consent for newsletters at any time by contacting us. Cookie preferences can be changed via your browser or our consent tools when available.

The site may set or read cookies, local storage and similar technologies for core functionality, audience measurement and advertising. Essential cookies (security, language where stored) do not require consent under EU rules; measurement and ad cookies can be refused.

Analytics: we may use privacy-oriented analytics such as Vercel Analytics (on Vercel deployments) and/or Swetrix when enabled. These tools help us understand page views without building individual marketing profiles on our side.

Spam protection: contact forms, sign-in, sign-up and some community actions use Google reCAPTCHA v3. Google may process technical signals (IP address, browser data, interaction patterns) under the Google Privacy Policy.

Advertising and affiliates: inventory may be supplied by A-ADS (Anonymous Ads), partner banners (e.g. Instant Gaming) and Amazon Associates links. Those partners process data under their own policies. Advertising may be contextual or personalised depending on your device and browser settings.

You can limit tracking via browser settings, our cookie banner when shown, Your Online Choices (EU), or aboutads.info (US).

Data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above: contact messages typically until the request is closed; newsletter data until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion; server logs for a limited security window; account data while your account remains active or as required by law.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Processors that may handle data on our behalf include: Vercel Inc. (hosting and CDN, United States), Supabase (database for accounts, newsletter and community features, region depending on project configuration), email delivery providers for contact messages, Google (reCAPTCHA), and analytics or ad partners listed above. They process data only to provide their service to us.

When data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required (such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions, depending on the provider).

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to certain processing, and to data portability where applicable. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing.

To exercise your rights, email contact@pc4games.com with enough detail for us to identify your request. We may ask for reasonable verification.

If you are in the EU/EEA and believe we have not addressed your concern, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in France: CNIL — cnil.fr).

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA (know, delete, opt-out of sale/share). PC4Games does not sell personal information as defined by those laws; contact us for any CCPA request.

PC4Games is aimed at a general gaming audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical or service changes. The current version is published on this page. Material changes may be highlighted on the site where appropriate. Continued use after an update constitutes acknowledgement of the revised policy where permitted by law.
