Corepunk: The Great Reset — why NOW is the time to jump in
Honestly? The Great Reset is the best timing to get into Corepunk. On June 25, 2026, everyone starts fresh — levels, gold, economy. Veterans and newcomers on the same starting line. If you wanted to try an MMORPG without feeling miles behind, this is it. To discover the game, start with Youby's video below — he explains everything better than any article. On price: no nasty surprises — ~$100 for the Standard edition, one-time purchase. No subscription. No pay-to-win. Even the Battle Pass is free. Pay once, play. Done.
June 23 everything stops, June 25 everything restarts
Artificial Core is sending a clear signal: servers shut down on June 23, 2026 at 18:00 (Amsterdam / CEST). Kwalat stays offline until the wipe finishes and the update goes live.
Then on June 25, 2026, The Great Reset drops — the major update that resets progression and the server economy. It's intentional: Corepunk is still in early access, and the studio is paving the way for version 1.0.
If you were on the fence, this reset gives you a rare window: nobody has a six-month head start on day one.
Game Master and the assistant: the reset brings real content
The Great Reset isn't just a technical wipe. Artificial Core is shipping real content.
Headline addition: the game's first 12-player raid around Game Master — an AI antagonist that can influence world-scale war. Endgame content that makes you want to rally a guild.
Second addition: a personal assistant in beta to help you navigate Kwalat — quests, systems, mechanics. Handy when everyone restarts on the same footing and you don't want to get lost in the fog of war.
Your character resets — your skins don't
Let's be clear about what goes and what stays. On wipe day, levels, gold, gear and resources are gone. The server economy starts over, like a new season.
Reassuring part: unlocked cosmetics, mounts and pets stay with you. You don't lose what you earned or bought as pure visuals.
Deluxe / Ultimate shop tiers mainly add exclusive early-access cosmetics. Full game access is the Standard at ~$100.
~$100. No sub. Free Battle Pass.
Worth repeating in the MMORPG world: Corepunk is ~$100 once. Not $100 a month. No subscription trap.
Zero pay-to-win per Artificial Core: cosmetic coin packs are optional with no gameplay advantage. And the Battle Pass is free — you progress without paying twice.
Not on Steam in June 2026: buy on the **official shop (partner code YOUBY) and launch via the dedicated launcher**. Four editions (Standard, Deluxe, Ultimate, Ultimate Plus) if you want extra cosmetic packs.
Patch v0.111: last tweaks before the big day
Before the reset, Artificial Core shipped patch v0.111 on June 19, 2026. Here's the digest, not the full changelog.
Combat: Infiltrator and Ranger tooltips fixed (Mine Throw, Delayed Pain, Stance Switchery). PvP: no more ghost model standing up after a Deathmatch kill; clearer Arena Resurrect popup.
UI: full mana overlay on the skill bar; Battle Pass shows correct level/XP on first open; Red Horse icon fixed. Guild: cross-instance chat back, bank withdraw permissions enforced, duplicate guild names rejected.
World & audio: water edge and stray obstacle on Frontier Strip road fixed; lobby music on first launch; fountain ambience no longer cuts out. The game is cleaner right before the leap.
What PC spec do you need?
No full official specs from the publisher yet — community early access and our checks converge on: GTX 1060 / RX 580, 16 GB RAM, Ryzen 5 1600 / i7-6700K, 15 GB on SSD, Windows 10/11 64-bit.
A 12-player raid plus top-down open world with PvP and crowds needs a stable machine. Ethernet helps avoid lag spikes.
PC4Games budget: plan $650 – $875 for comfortable 1080p — see our $650 and $875 guides. Streaming or light 1440p? Aim for **$1,100**.
