Guide
Which gaming monitor to choose in 2026?
Choosing the right monitor is as important as the PC itself. A bad screen wastes your configuration's performance; a good screen makes every GPU frame count.
Resolution: 1080p, 1440p or 4K?
1080p: standard for competitive gaming (CS2, Valorant). Less GPU-demanding → more FPS.
1440p: the 2026 sweet spot. Much better visuals than 1080p, reasonable GPU demand.
4K: for those who prioritize ultimate visual quality. Needs RTX 4080 minimum for 4K 60 FPS ultra.
Refresh rate: 60, 144, 165 or 240 Hz?
144–165 Hz: the recommended standard in 2026. The difference from 60 Hz is immediately noticeable.
240–360 Hz: for pure competitive gaming (CS2, Valorant, Apex).
