Desktop vs laptop for gaming
Should you buy a desktop or a gaming laptop? In most cases, desktop gives better performance per dollar, while laptop wins on mobility.
1) Performance for the price
At the same budget, desktops usually deliver stronger gaming performance.
If value matters most, desktop is generally the best option.
2) Mobility and daily usage
If you travel or move frequently, a gaming laptop may be worth the premium.
For a fixed setup at home, desktop remains the most comfortable long-term choice.
3) Upgradability
Desktops are easier to upgrade over time (GPU, RAM, storage).
Laptops are more constrained, so the initial choice matters more.
