RTX 4060 (~$325): best performance/price ratio for 1080p gaming in May 2026. RX 7800 XT (~$425): best ratio for 1440p. RTX 4090 (~$1,850) remains the absolute 4K reference but is out of reach for most budgets. The RTX 3060 (~$225 used) maintains an excellent ratio for tight budgets.

Prices were tracked on Amazon.fr May 1–11, 2026 (excluding flash promotions < 24h). FPS performance estimates are based on benchmarks from TechPowerUp GPU Database and Tom's Hardware tests. The performance index is calculated with base 100 = RTX 3060 at 1080p in Cyberpunk 2077 High without ray tracing.

Budget $175 – $275 (1080p): RTX 3060 (~$225, perf index 100), RX 6700 XT (~$250, index 108), RTX 4060 (~$325, index 115). Best performance/€ at this tier: RTX 3060 (5.0 perf units per €). Budget $325 – $500 (1440p): RX 7800 XT (~$425, index 145), RTX 4070 (~$500, index 155), RTX 4060 Ti (~$400, index 132). The RX 7800 XT dominates perf/€ at 1440p.
